# Scenes AI > Scenes AI 2.0 makes mini drama, stories, shorts, tutorials and documentaries from a written > idea — with a cast, locations and voices that stay the same across every scene and every > episode. Pay as you go: one credit is one US dollar, no subscription. ## What you can make with Scenes AI Five formats, each written to its own story shape rather than one template reworded: - **Mini drama** — serialized episodes: the ending opens a question, the cast persists. - **Story** — a self-contained narrative short with an ending the climax has earned. - **Short** — vertical, hook-first, for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. - **Tutorial** — opens on the finished result, then steps with checkpoints. - **Documentary** — factual; claims must trace to a researched brief or be cut. Also: music videos with an original generated song, faceless videos with nobody on camera, slideshows that animate stills instead of buying clips, and multi-episode series where the next episode inherits the cast, locations, photos and settings. Lengths run 15 seconds to 5 minutes. Output is widescreen, vertical, square or 4:3 at up to 4K, with narration and captions in 12 languages. ## Why the output holds together The thing it is built around is consistency. Before any scene is generated it produces a four-view character sheet for each character (front, side, back and a face close-up on one canvas) and a two-panel plate for each location, then passes those back as references to every scene they appear in. That is why a character keeps one face across a whole video, and across later episodes of the same series. ## How a video gets made Three phases — planning, building, review — with six approval gates. Generation tools are locked until a plan is approved, and render tools are locked until a preview is approved, so nothing expensive happens without a person agreeing to it first. The gates are: script review, the plan gate, reference review (cast and locations), preview review (a scrubbable cut, before any video clips are bought), the hand-off gate, and final review. ## Notable capabilities - Character consistency via reusable four-view character sheets, checked by a vision reviewer - Location consistency via two-panel establishing plates with named fixed anchors - Multi-episode series: a new episode inherits cast, locations, uploaded photos and settings - Scene-to-scene continuity, where one shot morphs into the next via last-frame interpolation - 26 animated caption styles, chosen automatically per format, plus SRT and VTT downloads - three speech engines, up to 68 voices each, per-scene emotion and pace, and full non-English support - Original music with lyrics, or instrumental, ducked automatically under narration - 13 visual styles to pick from, or describe your own - Eight video formats, each with its own story structure and pacing rules - Vertical (1080x1920), widescreen, square and ultrawide output, up to 4K - A slideshow mode that animates stills instead of buying video clips, for a much lower cost - Upload your own reference photos to steer a character, a location, a prop or a logo - Named references by kind: character, environment, prop, logo — a product stays identical - Optional 480p draft clips before the preview gate, so you approve real motion first ## Limits worth knowing - Every clip is image-to-video. There is no text-to-video path. - Prices shown before a script exists are estimates, because the real scene count and narration length are only known once the script is written. - Rendering is a long job, not an instant export. ## Pricing Pay as you go. One credit is one US dollar. There is no subscription, no minimum and no expiry — you are charged for what you actually generate. Video engines bill either per clip (a flat rate however long the clip is) or per second of output. ### Video engines - **Veo 3.1 Lite** (made by Google) — billed per clip, clips up to 8s, aspect ratios 16:9 / 9:16, up to 3 reference images.
